This observation was based on, RAW ISO 3200 1/400 @ f2.8 using a 70- 200 f2.8L IS in Servo AF. I shoot RAW even at football games w/ the MIIN, I love the write speeds! Good idea; also try checking the custom function for the focusing screen to make sure it is set for the screen in the camera. Aperture is a lens characteristic, so it's calculated only for fixed lens cameras. If you want to know the equivalent aperture for Canon -1D Mark II N, take the aperture of the lens you're using and multiply it with crop factor. Crop factor for Canon -1D Mark II N is 1.26
1D Mark II N. On August 22, 2005, Canon announced the successor to the EOS 1D Mark II. The new Canon EOS-1D Mark II N features the same 8.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC II image processor and 8.5 frame per second shooting speed of its predecessor.
