A good place to compare is the boss battles at about 15 minutes in. It definitely looks like the Switch version is 720p-ish and the PS4 version is 1080p. Marvel vs capcom infinite also sucked in 2017. But LMSH2 also had some other problems like the open world just being a terrible mash up of way too many marvel locations. DC supervillains did a open world with multiple DC locations right. It wasn’t too many and gave them all good space to really explore.
Is Lego marvel superheroes 2 worth getting? Question. Currently it's on sale for like 10 dollars on switch. I lived the first game and spent 100 hours in it. The open world was 90% of my enjoyment though and I didn't really care about the levels.

Is Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 worth buying? . Yes! It has a huge hub world, an insane amount of fun characters, and an interesting story. The music and voice acting is inferior to other (recent) Lego games, but in every other department, I’d say the game knocks it out of the park. The third best Lego game. (First is Lego marvel super heroes 2, and second is Lego marvel super heroes) Many good characters and characters creator (similar to the one in Lego marvel super heroes 2), one big map and not many smaller ones like in Lego avengers or Batman 3 (I hated it in these games), levels were ok but could be better.
Honestly, it's not a bad game, but, it is a bad Lego game, and a bad Marvel game. Most people will complain about the voice acting, which is actually quite terrible, but the thing that annoys me the most is probably the small unnecessary changes to the UI and other parts which have generally been the same across most Lego games.
