No, in order to make this works, you need to do system link up to 4 players. In green highlighted, it said co-op 2-4. Now you will see next to it, it says system link 2-4.
From here, just press whatever key/button is labeled Invite Players in the bottom right of the screen. Now you can just enjoy the experience of surviving a zombie apocalypse with other players
