The Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 arrived on the scene last year, completing the triad of inexpensive and lightweight f/2 primes for the system. With its equivalent field of view of 76mm in 35mm format, it is long enough to be considered a decent portrait lens but can also work for events and everyday walk-around photography.

The Fuji XF 35mm f2 is probably one of the most desirable lenses for the X mount cameras. It features superb image quality, weather resistance, rounded 9-blade diaphragm and controls chromatic aberration very well. Because X cameras are all APSC sensors the 35mm has an effective focal length of 52.5mm, so this is essentially a nifty fifty f2.
It would be great if Fujifilm made a similar lens to the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN C in an XC version, but I don't see that ever happening, unfortunately. I think Sigma said that the 18-50mm f/2.8 would be coming to Fuji towards the end of the year. This. Also remember that the Sigma 18-50 doesn't have OIS.
86%. Overall score. Jump to conclusion. Fujifilm has debuted its enhanced midrange APS-C mirrorless model, the 26MP Fujifilm X-S20. This interchangeable lens camera has improved video features and a new vlog mode, but doesn't stray from the original very much. The X-S20 retains the deep grip, approachable design, plentiful ports, and in-body XF 23mm f/2 R WR Lens. Combining three versatile, compact, and lightweight primes for X-mount mirrorless cameras, the silver FUJIFILM XF 50mm, 35mm, and 23mm f/2 WR Lenses Kit from B&H bundles the portrait-length, normal, and wide-angle lenses for a comprehensive kit to suit a wide variety of photographic situations. The Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2.0 R WR is a weather resistant compact X-mount lens that weighs a scant 6.35 oz (180 g) and produces beautiful images. With a full frame equivalent 35mm focal length, the XF 23mm f/2.0 is the perfect do-it-all lens option for travel, landscape, and street photos while on the go.
Value for Money. The Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 mounted to the Fujifilm X-E3 is a nice pairing. At around US$1,600 the Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 is one of the pricier lenses in the Fuji line-up – though not the most expensive by far. By comparison, the Fuji XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 is less than half the price!
