I have tried everything that is requiered for a mod to work, and i'm still not getting the message that the game is running mods in the menu and the actual content. And yes, i have enabled the mods, and checked for what version the mods were tesed in, and still not working

ETS2 Mods Not Working. At first it their was no “mod” folder under documents/euro truck simulator. After creating a folder I tried adding the mods to that folder. Then went into ets2 and checked the mod manager and it said nothing was in their or I had no downloads. For starters, you posted in the wrong section.
Promods only working with Scandinavia and Going East DLC. For some reason when I downloaded the Scandinavia DLC, it kept crashing my game, so I eventually tried removing all my active mods and it ran fine. I'm just confused because it didn't work with ANY mods whatsoever, even ones that said they were compatible with the DLC.
There you go to "DLC" and you should make sure that the DLC is checked there. Verify your files. You can do this by doing a right-click on the game in your Steam Library and going to "Properties". There you go to "Local files" and there should be the option to verify your files. #1.

TruckersMP Profile. Posted June 25, 2015. If it's an allowed mod, it will appear to not work even if it's checked. You have to use it in single player, then come to multiplayer, then it should stick. Now, if it's something like a map mod or an American truck mod, it won't work, as those kinds of mods aren't allowed.

1) Try changing game versions back and forth. 2)This might not be so good method so this might as well be tried last - reinstalling game. 3)Maybe try making the folder by yourself. I'm sure if this didn't help, someone will help you with this. There are lot of helpful people here.
Start a new, unmodded, vanilla profile. (you can have as many as you want) and test the game. If it does not crash, it's most likely your mods causing the problem.
